"At long last, a tangible sense of achievement and perfect control from beginning to end, something Autism too often robs parents of. That's probably why painting "African Sunset" was so unexpectedly therapeutical. It was the perfect conduit to release many trapped feelings I had no idea were there in the first place! This painting is packed full of warmth, energy, light, love and hope. All of which represent South Africa to me. All of which I dearly miss..."
