Artist Chris Burns created his grand masterpiece 'Hayle Bay' in 2012.
"I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome when l was 32. Now, though, l have been told my autism and learning difficulties were gained at birth. My present age is 37 and been a carer for my dad for about 5 years. My hobbies haven't been very many since being a carer but l have built a model railway and I like campaigning for people with learning disabilities and autism. This had led me to speak with politicians and attend partnership board meetings. I also like travelling by train when given the opportunity and I'm part of a drama group which l recently performed in a production with. It was the first time l had acted upon a stage. We were so good that the audience thought myself and my colleagues were professional actors! My biggest goals for the future? One of them is be able to continue the activities which l enjoy and perhaps make a difference at the same time."
This pencil drawing on paper piece comes framed in a brown wood frame and is 92.3 x 72.4 cm.
