The first phase of our new community will cost £10 m to develop ...
The primary facilities for the new community excluding land, for which a range of zero cost options are being explored are estimated to require capital expenditure of £10m to complete. Subsequent enhancing facilities will be the subject of additional campaigns once the core is in live operations.
Ongoing management costs will be met primarily by local authority funds attributable to the individual in the case of residential services supplemented by external charges for those visiting for consultations and revenue support donations received.
As a charity all charges will be determined on the basis of a not for profit management budget.
We estimate that the initial fundraising and development programme will take three to four years to complete after which the expertise and knowledge we have gained will be available to support the development of other new communities around the UK.
The land commitment and physical development stage is expected to be able to be progressed once net cash reserves exceed £2m. The following programme summarises the key stages.

Staffing and local job creation will be high: between 150 and 200 people will be needed to provide full support and the tailored expertise and care levels we intend to deliver.
Our targeted locations are in the Home Counties to the South West of London. Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey are currently being reviewed with representatives at senior local government level in order to determine where political regeneration sponsorship and suitable land options are most likely.
In recognition of the importance of having aligned interests, we will be working in partnership with local and central government and major corporate businesses to become the focal point for positive change in residential support linked to life-long learning in autism.
For all of us who are not parents of autistic children just think for a moment about how you might cope when faced with this dilemma if one of your children faced this prospect
it is a tough call, and for us, its a very big challenge £10m to develop - but you can all help.
So, please help us to whatever extent you can in raising the funds we need to succeed.
